In the upcoming General Election on November 5, 2024, four Board of Directors seats will be up for election. Two seats for a 2-year term and two seats for a 4-year term.
For eligible candidates who wish to file, official nominating petitions must be obtained starting Monday, July 15, and must be filed no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, August 9, 2024.

Candidate Qualifications
To run for an elected Board of Director position for the Mendocino Coast Recreation & Park District Board, a candidate must be:
A United States Citizen, and
18 years old on or before election day, and
Must be an elector in the District in which duties of the office are to be exercised.
